About Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo
Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo is, as the name suggests, a park AND a zoo!

Oxbow Park is perfect for those adventurous and active families. Whether you want to don those hiking boots and take to some trails, or cast a line out to try and catch some fish, you can!
The park has four picnic areas, as well as fun playground equipment for those playful kids. Over summer, the ball field is maintained for public use too.
Fancy camping? Oxbow Park also have 30 campsites available, with running water, restrooms and showers.
And then of course, we have the zoo!
Zollman Zoo has over 30 species of wild animals native to the beautiful state of Minnesota.
Many of the animals at the zoo were injured or in other ways unfit for release into the wild, so kids can learn about conservation, and the importance of caring for our wildlife.
There are also environmental education classes and workshops held largely aimed at children. The Nature Centre is above all a research facility but they also have a live snake exhibit worth a look.
The zoo is open all year, so don't be put off across winter. You still get to see wonderful creatures, including otters, bison, donkey, red fox, bobcat, coyotes, and wild turkeys, just to name a few!
A day in a gorgeous park and animal encounters in a small, country zoo are waiting for you, so let's go!
