Along the way, kids will be immersing themselves in the beauty of a Maine bog, complete with fascinating plants and animals.

The structure is littered with artistically presented information boards detailing things you should be able to see from those positions, leading to some great spotting competitions and almost accidental learning.

Learning in nature? Of course there is!

Many people who visit the Orono Bog end up visiting again and again, so they can observe the bog over the changing seasons

You'll be amazed at the tranquil beauty that will surround you. Don't worry about time, it's all about you! Along the boardwalk there are benches for rest and contemplation at least every 200ft. So sit back, relax, and just take in all the amazing nature around you.
