About OC Zoo

The OC Zoo can be found within the 477 acres of beautiful Irvine Regional Park, at the beautiful in the city of Orange. 

What's unique about OC Zoo is that the focus is on animals and plants that are native to the southwestern US, so prepare to be amazed at what can be found right on the doorstep!

You can come face to face with adorable black bears, or proud mountain lions. You might see your first gran bald eagle, or those playful island foxes.

Other species to be found at the OC Zoo are owls, coyotes, porcupine, coati, hawk and more!

If kids want a bit more interaction with the animals, just head to the barnyard! Here they can find all those loving domestic animals including jacob sheep, goats, pot-bellied pigs, doves and pheasants. 

Don't miss those fun events they host throughout the year too - you wont want to miss some of them, especially over the holidays!

Great animal fun in Orange County, where you can really understand how many amazing creatures are so close to home.

Teachers corner

They offer personal guided tours for school field trips! They last about an hour, and topics can vary to what you want for your students! They can be adapted to any age and grade level, and also train rides in Irvine Regional Park can be added for an additional fee
