The magic of the ocean comes to life at Ocean Adventures Marine Park in Mississippi! Just down the road from the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies, Ocean Adventures Marine Park allows the family to see the beauty and intelligence of marine creatures for your very eyes!

Their resident dolphins and sea lions show off their skills as they interact with the trainers. You can see them play as you learn all about their habits and habitats, and what makes them so special.

Kids love getting a closer look at these animals through the underwater viewing areas where you can see below the surface!

Hands-on fun is waiting in the ray pool, where you can actually TOUCH one of the resident stingrays, or you might want to visit some feathered friends in the Tweeter Post, a fun walk-through aviary. Here, kids can experience and feed the resident parakeets, before seeing a very special macaw and parrot show!

Also a great option during your time at Ocean Adventures Marine Park is to take the train to the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies. 

Explore the 2,000 sq.ft. museum filled with interactive and life-size replicas of sea creatures. Sift through the sand at the Fossil Dig to find a shark tooth. Experience an underwater adventure on the big screen in our auditorium. Encounter a horseshoe crab and get up-close with sea stars and other marine animals in our Discovery Room. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and are great for the educational aspect of the day!
