Nuevo Santander Gallery 5.0 (reviews)

Nuevo Santander Gallery will take you back to the time of the Old West with its collection of Old West firearms and fascinating Mexican collectibles.  Some of the guns, military uniforms and furniture date as far back as the 1700s!  Can you imagine what it would have been like to live back then?  How do you think it might have been different?

Go back to the life on the Rio Grande and of Colonial Mexico, and take in their culture, life and traditions.  There are original paintings and sculptures dotted around the museum that will help you imagine you are back in the old west, as well as the Spanish Mission style decorations they have used throughout

You can also enjoy the self-guided Artwalk tour which lets you move at your own pace, and really enjoy all the pieces.  What colors can you see in the art?  Can you differentiate the techniques used in one and also the others?   Can you spot the difference between the pastel and the oil paintings?

All the artists in the museum have been exhibited nationally or published in art digests previously, so you know you are looking at pretty incredible work from pretty incredible artists - both national and international artists. 

As soon as you walk into the museum you will be transported to another time.  The grand entrance to the gallery includes doors and colonial ironwork from Mexico - about 150 years old!  Pretty crazy!
