About Niagara Falls State Park

Can you hear that loud thundering coming from all that mist? It can only mean one thing - Niagara Falls - which is actually part of Niagara Falls State Park.

One of the most incredible natural wonders in the world, this amazing feat of nature is an amazing sight for kids to experience!  Forming part of the borderline between Canada and the USA, you can see Niagara Falls in New York State - which is what millions of people do every year!

Did you know that Niagara Falls State Park is America's oldest state park? That's pretty impressive! It's a natural treasure that showcases the local, as well as regional history, which is great for kids to expand their knowledge of the area.

The visitor center is a great place to start your visit, as there are exhibits and interpretive displays. There is also Niagara Gorge Discovery Center, where you can explore the many amazing miles of hiking trails. There is even a 180 degree multi-screen theater, and a very cool rock climbing wall!

Feel like heading out to an aquarium? You don't even need to leave Niagara State Park! The Aquarium of Niagara is where the entire family can get up close with marine animals, particularly during the shark and penguin feedings.

That's not all the fun! Of course the whole family can enjoy that iconic Maids of the Mist tour, but there are also signature activities like the Cave of the Winds Tour and the Hurricane Decks.

So get the kids down to one of the most incredible sights they might ever see - and right on your doorstep! Niagara Falls State Park is a must see for all families!
