Do you love to play? We certainly do, and so does everyone at the Muncie Children's Museum in Indiana!
Parents love to watch their kids learn, and kids love to get creative and have a great time, so why no take them to a place where they can enjoy both at the same time!
The Muncie Children's Museum is dedicated to kids learning through fun and colorful activities and exhibits. There really is something for all kids!
The Big Rig exhibit lets kids jump inside a truck driver's "home away from home", and see how a cross country trip would really feel like! They can even stop at rest stops and meet new people!
For those little ones under 5 years, the Tot Spot is designed JUST for them, where they can discover, create and explore in a hands-on, interactive space.
They can peer through a periscope in the very cool lighthouse, or step aboard that little tug boat that could! Ahoy maties!
The green thumbs in the family will LOVE the Outdoor Learning Center, where exploration and discovery awaits in the Five Senses garden, as well as in the tree house. Don't miss the resident turtles in the pond!
The Muncie Children's Museum has a theater where kids can play dress up, or watch themselves on TV. They can read about those magical faraway places in the Book Nook, or they can learn the power of water in the Water Works exhibit.
And we haven't even covered everything!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Muncie Children's Museum?
There are lunch rooms available on a first come basis where you can enjoy your own lunch if you want to bring it, but food isn't allowed on the museum floor
Any top tips when visiting?
Why not have a birthday party at the museum! They offer 90 minute slots, and you get an extra 30 minutes if you have the party at 10am!
Does Muncie Children's Museum have a gift shop?
Bring that pocket money as the MCM store is where you can find all the find MCM items like Ty Beanie Boos, and Sand Art!
Teachers corner
When there is a place for hands on learning, why wouldn't you take the students! They have group programs which allow time for experimentation, investigation, and exploration, as well as free time afterwards to explore!
Is Muncie Children's Museum fully accessible?
All of the hallways and restrooms are handicap accessible!
