There is something super fun for kids when they can explore a museum and really get involved - learning, touching, playing, smelling, and at the Montshire Museum of Science they can do just that!
There is a whole world of new ideas just waiting to kids to explore and discover. Kids - do you fancy spending the day explore the bubbly bubble station? Or checking out the regions largest collection of moths and butterflies?
LIVE fish in a museum? There is here! Kids can get nose to nose with live trout, or try and solve topological puzzles, and even experience a colony of leaf-cutter ants!
At the Montshire Museum of Science, there are more than 125 permanent exhibits, both indoors and outdoors, as well as a whole range of engaging, fascinating and educational activities and programs for kids. There are also rotating exhibitions, so if you want to visit again, there might be something new to explore!
For those little ones, there is even their own area! Andy's Place is a special area scaled for those curious minds under 5.
Want to get out and enjoy the sun? There are over 100 acres of trails, and outdoor exhibits, as well as a Woodland Garden, Science Park, and even a walking tour of the solar system! Pretty amazing!
