About Marquette Park

We LOVE a good park, and in Chicago, you're not going to be short of amazing ones to visit! Why not add Marquette Park to your next family day out "visit list" - after all, there is over 300 acres of park fun to be explored!

Marquette Park is located in the Chicago Lawn area, and features a host of fun activities for the whole family!

Let's start with nature! (After all, it is a park!). Kids can explore the greenery of Mother Nature with the numerous gardens within the park, including a community garden as well as a rose garden. There is even a prairie, and an area with 500 newly planted trees, so kids can really see the circle of life!

Elsewhere in the park, those active kids will be in their element. There are FOUR multi-purpose fields, as well as a 9 hole golf course just in case you want to break your day up with a hole in one. There is also a driving range if you want to get some practice in first!

Marquette Park also has a basketball court, as well as tennis course, and baseball fields - so why not get some friendly family competition going? Play ball!

Those little ones will love the two playgrounds that they can play on all day, and in those summer months why not cool down with the spray pool. Nothing like cooling off in that lovely Chicago sun!

Marquette Park also offers some great Park Kids programs, with after school events and seasonal sports, as well as day camps and even holiday-themed events perfect for the entire family!

It's SO much more than just a park!
