About Loudoun Museum
We offer exhibits on Loudoun County history both in person and online, and we're open each weekend to people of all ages! Visit us to learn more about the county's history and see artifacts from the 17th century up to the present day. Our exhibits cover topics ranging from the Early Republic in Loudoun County to the Civil War to the history of wine and viticulture in Virginia. We offer public programs throughout the year, including book talks, family-friendly First Friday events, and of course our annual Hauntings tours in October!

Loudoun Museum FAQ’s
What is there to do?
The museum has regular hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as well as certain holidays. However, the Loudoun Museum offers certain additional opportunities to visit:
- Private openings
- lnformal programming for educational groups (Scouts, home school groups, small classes, etc.)
- Small private events in the Log Cabin and/ or Museum buildings
- Research appointments for historians and students
- Behind-the Scenes tours

All special events and openings must be arranged ahead of time and are based on staff availability. For pricing and scheduling.
