About Little Rock Zoo

The Little Rock Zoo is the wildest classroom in town - so get ready for the lesson to begin, kids!

Little Rock Zoo is a great way to experience animals from all over the world - after all, there are over 700 creatures in the zoo, representing over 200 species, so there is so much for the kids to see and do.

Kids will be able to come face to face with their favorite creatures, such as gorillas, lions, and zebra. You might even want to pretend you are out on the African plains, watching the herds of creatures around the water hole!

There are cheeky penguins, mysterious bobcats, and incredible rhinos, just to name a few! There might even be a few animals that kids have never heard of before - there is always something to learn!

If the kids want those fun animal encounters, then the Arkansas Heritage Farm is there place to head! There, kids can groom, feed and touch the sweet barnyard animals, as well as learning about agriculture, and Arkansas's heritage too.

If you want to gain an even deeper insight into Little Rock Zoo and the animals that call it home, then you can book a guided tour for the family! The tour is 45 minutes, and is a great way for kids to ask all those questions they have always wanted to know.

Don't miss the fun events that the zoo host too, across the year. There are Zoofari's, Animal Explorations, Overnight Zoo Snoozes and seasonal activities!

It's animal fun all around in Little Rock - it's a jungle in there!
