There's a fresh water beach, so why not spend the day going in for a quick swim! A great way to cool off on those hot summer days! If the banks of the water are more your thing, then why not get everyone together for a spot of trout fishing. Who can catch the largest one!?
With state parks come plenty of greenery, so get out there and make the most of it! Bring a few balls and have a kick around or throw. Grab those running shoes and spend a few hours jogging along their paths, or perhaps amp it up a notch and jog for a while.
Love horses? GREAT! Bring yours and enjoy some horse back riding while you're there! If you need a break from being active, relax under the trees for a while in the shade. They're all there for you!
Lincoln Woods State Park even has Little League, so if you wanted something a bit more consistent and challenging, join a team! It's a great excuse to head to the park on a regular basis! (Oh...how horrible!)
You can even take your boat out on the water if you wanted. What better way to spend those summer days!
