Love the remodel but the management is definitely confused on what a "Las Vegas casino" is all about. First off, they said they'd embrace the local market but don't actually offer anything competitive compared to other local casinos. Casino doesn't like table action. Betting anything over 50$ a hand at Blackjack and they sweat you like a shitty Downtown casino does. The restaurants are actually pretty good but way over priced. Service, in general, is really hit or miss. Their security walks around like they're patrolling a prison. Casino Hosts are not approachable. No one seems to know how table games comps work. Parking hasn't improved since it was the Sahara - garage is confusing and valet is a pain. If you're into night clubs then this place might be worth checking out but otherwise it's very lackluster. Bottom line: Cool decor but there's definitely better places on the strip offering a way better value.

I had a bad experienced at the foxtail club last night ,,, the people were drinking on the dancing floor and spilling their alcohol everywhere. There were no employees cleaning up or monitoring the dance floor. I slipped and fell and hurt my tail bone pretty badly. Woke up this morning in so much pain. They had enough staff to monitor the club last night but no one was watching the dancing floor.. They should not allow people to be dancing and drinking at the dancing floor this is dangerous... people can get hurt. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY, THEY DO NOT CONSIDER CUSTOMER SERVICE COMPLAINT. CUSTOMER SERVICE HANDLED THE SITUATION POORLY. IF YOU EVER VISIT VEGAS. I ADVISE TO STAY SOME WHERE ELSE. TERRIBLE BUSINESS, EMPLOYEES ARE JUST STANDING THERE NOT HELPING OR ASSISTING. TERRIBLE WORK ETHIC, TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THIS HOTEL DOESN'T CONSIDER TO EVEN BE A HOTEL ON VEGAS OR IN THIS CITY AT ALL.

I'm trying really hard to like this place. I've stayed there twice and thought the problems relating to my first visit were simply new casino problems. There weren't. While the decor and lay out is great and some of the experience is in line with good Vegas hotels they have a lot to do in the service area. For example, I am writing this while I am on hold while trying to request a copy of the bill for the five rooms I had last week. This is the third time I've requested it. While at the hotel the dealers seemed and acted miserably. I can understand dealing with the late night crowd can be a pain but this lady seemed to take her grumpiness to the extreme. I'm not a big gambler but I doubt I will ever hit the tables at the SLS again. I went through my minibar on day one (with some guests in my suite) and had to request that they come in the next evening to restock it. There are plenty of instances similar to that that really impact the brand that is SLS. If they want to make a serious run at attracting a loyal Vegas crowd they really need to step up their game and bring their LA brand in it's entirity and not just look and feel.
