About Kentucky Science Center
Science CAN be fun, kids, and when you visit the Kentucky Science Center, you'll see why!
The Kentucky Science Center is 3 floors of hands on activities, filled with interactive exhibits and ways to explore the fun side of science. There are also things for the parents too!
The Kentucky Science Center has some of the wackiest, coolest, funniest, and yes, even the smelliest, experiences when it comes to kids and science - you might even forget you are learning! Each of the experiences can teach kids something completely different, so you will go away from your family day out with a host of new knowledge!
How about Science In Play? Here, young kids and parents can enjoy this progressive, next-generation learning experience where loose parts and open-ended play let the family learn and grow together.
Imaginary play is waiting for you with the Let's Pretend exhibit, where kids can figure out people and events by "being" them! They can make up stories all about different sounds and sights, and gain and understanding about the world around them!
Playing For Life let's kids engage in make-believe play with each other, and parents, so they can learn through play and really connect with others through cognitive abilities, critical thinking and even problem-solving!
Kids can learn why words are so important in Pump It Up, and learn about physical risks in Reaching New Heights. Let's not forget about the shapes in Shape Your World!
Did we mention there was an IMAX theatre, as well as camps, overnights, family events and so much more?
Did you ever think science could be THIS fun? Well, it can - and it's all at Kentucky Science Center! Let's get exploring!
