The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art at Washington State University proudly invites visitors to experience multiple, enlightening exhibitions and events each year. The museum also houses a world-renowned permanent collection with 4,000+ objects which provide a lasting legacy of the 20th and 21st century’s visual language. Held in our community’s trust, the collection is a campus resource and foundation for approaching emergent art forms
The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU preserves and exhibits important artistic, cultural, and historical artifacts. With free admission to the museum, it can be hard to find a reason not to visit. Hundreds of pieces of artwork are displayed throughout six indoor galleries, and visitors to the museum can experience paintings, videography, photography, ceramics, drawings, multi-media, and more - offering engagement with local, national, and international art and artists.
The museum is situated in Pullman, WA, and is open from Tuesday through Saturday, with current hours available on our website. Located at the top of Terrell Mall on the WSU Pullman campus it’s easy to find—just take Stadium Way to Grimes Way, and we’re across from the CUB and Martin Stadium. With mirrored crimson glass on the front of the building, you can’t miss us!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU?
The museum does not offer food and drinks, nor does it have a restaurant or shop. However, we are located across from the WSU Compton Union Building (CUB) where there is a food court, Starbucks, and the Barnes and Noble Bookie - all with a variety of food and beverages available.

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU is committed to enriching the community life of Washington State University, the region and the nation by providing meaningful encounters with creativity and innovation. The education tabs on our website are focused on providing museum visitors and teachers with information about featured artists, their work, and related instructional materials.
You may access these materials under the Teachers or Exhibition Learning Tabs. After the physical exhibit is over, archived materials can continue to be used by classes as stand-alone units or as integrated enrichment with other subject content. The Buy A Bus (BAB) program completes the museum experience by funding transportation for K-12 school visits, other colleges/universities, after school programs, seniors, etc, within a 100 mile radius, see the education tabs on our website to learn more!

Wheelchairs are available on a first come, first serve basis. If you would like a wheelchair, ask our visitor ambassadors at the front desk, or call in advance to (509) 335-1910.

Art Safety: Please do not touch the artwork. Be respectful of the art and others around you, maintaining a polite distance from others not in your party.
Bags: Store backpacks and large bags in the coat room behind the front desk, located on the main level of the museum galleries opposite the entrance.
Photos: Non-flash photography is encouraged in the galleries. Tag us! @wsuartmuseum
Filming: The museum often photographs and films onsite for promotional use. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please inform a staff member.
Food & Drink: No food or drink is allowed in the gallery spaces. Please enjoy any food and drink, including water outside the museum galleries.
Service Animals: Documented service animals are permitted within the museum and gallery spaces.
