James Dean Gallery
About James Dean Gallery
The James Dean Gallery is a celebration to the iconic acting legend, so why not introduce your kids to this one of a kind Hollywood superstar! Located in his hometown and final resting place of Fairmount, Indiana, the James Dean Gallery features an extensive exhibit within a beautifully restored 1903 Victorian home.
The exhibit consists of thousands of items of James Dean memorabilia, allowing kids to learn the fascinating story of Dean's life and career, and parents to reminisce about the man they might have grown up with on the big screen.
It's here you can learn about the worldwide impact that this Indiana native made.
Throughout the exhibit, you can see childhood photos, high school yearbooks, and even personal items of Dean himself.
Dean was an icon, so it's fitting there is a number of tribute and novelty items that exist from the 1950s onwards too, including mugs, puzzles, gum cards and more! It's a great trip down memory lane.
There are four rooms within the James Dean Gallery, including a screening room where you can just sit back, relax and watch film clips from a number of Dean's early television dramas, rare screen tests and even an early interview.
A beautiful tribute to one of the most iconic actors in the world.
