Insectropolis The Bugseum of New Jersey
About Insectropolis The Bugseum of New Jersey
It's a bugs life at Insectropolis - the Bugseum of New Jersey! Yes kids, you can spend your family day out in the Garden State learning all about the amazing creatures that crawl and slither on our planet (and who are very important to the eco-system!)
Insectropolis is a fun and unique insect learning center for visitors of all ages, because there is plenty to see and do! Their creative displays will entertain kids as they learn about these fascinating creatures, and you can even view thousands of beautiful and bizarre exotic insects from all over the world.
There is hands-on fun with the bug games on their touch-screen computers, and interactive experiences as kids can pretend they are a termite as they crawl through the mud tube.
Also at the famous Bugseum, you can watch ants forage for food, then build tunnels in the live ant nest - not to mention getting (safely of course!) up close to the observation hive and see those busy bees at work!
Of course, your visit is not complete unless you touch a bug! Touch a live tarantula, scorpion, millipede, and a hissing cockroach before you leave the Insectropolis - and we're not kidding!
Whether you are a bug enthusiast or just a curious visitor, Insectropolis has over a dozen exhibit areas that are sure to ensure your day is as bug-tastic as you want it to be!
