Imagination Stage
About Imagination Stage
There is something really fun about seeing a live performance in the theater, and for those little kids it's a whole new world where their imaginations can come to life right in front of their eyes!
Imagination Stage is a fun theatre in Maryland where kids can have the experience of stories being told to them, but live action - just like their bedtime stories they love!
The plays at Imagination Stage are great for kids either over 4 years or age, or 6 years of age. The stories will take them into lands of make believe, of magic and of wonder - there they can take away lessons and morals, and a whole lot of fun they have just experienced!
If a child hasn't experienced live theater before, they will love the excitement, and adrenaline as they feel the atmosphere from all the other excited kids waiting for that moment the curtains pull back.
With about 4 or 5 plays every season, there is always something new that kids can look forward to at Imagination Stage.
If they get the acting bug whilst watching these amazing live performances, they can even take classes to help them express themselves! Kids with low self-esteem, low confidence, or just that need to be creative and perform, Imagination Stage has year round learning opportunities for kids aged 1 - 18. Classes cover acting techniques and creative drama, and are divided into grade groups so kids will be around others their own age and level.
There are early childhood classes, as well as dance, filmmaking, and musical theater, so whatever their talents, kids can find something to suit them!
So if you are feeling creative, want to be inspired, and give kids a chance to experience the electricity of live theater, Imagination Stage in Maryland should be on the cards for your next family experience together!
