There is SO much to see and do in the Black Hills of South Dakota, it's worth grabbing a base to enjoy all the nearby sites. This is where Horse Thief Campsite comes in!

Horse Thief Campsite is a family owned and operated campground with in the Black Hills of South Dakota. That also means they are in a GREAT position for you if you want to visit the surrounding attractions that you may have heard of. Mount Rushmore anyone?

In they area there is also the beautiful Custer State Park, Sylvan Lake, Crazy Horse Monument and Needles Highway.

The area is also perfect for those active families, with hikers, mountain climbers and bikers loving the area. The fishing lovers in the family won't be disappointed either!

The campground itself has everything you would need out of a family campground. There are large camping sites, as well as sleeping cabins. Each site has fire rings and tables so you can really enjoy your meals in the great outdoors!

The kids will love the heated pool, especially on those hot summer nights, and there is also basketball and a playground for those active kids to enjoy.

If you fancy a picnic, there are gas grills at the Picnic Pavilion for your use, a coin operated laundry and wifi access.
