About Hill Aerospace Museum
Located on about 30 acres of Hill Air Force Base, the Hill Aerospace Museum has over 1000 artifacts depicting the history of aviation in the US Air Force, Hill Air Force base and Utah, but it offers some great STEM based learning too!
Of course, this aerospace museum is home to some REAL aircraft too!
Kids can see a Blackbird up close, and learn about how there was only one C model ever built, and see a real A-17G "Flying Fortress" in person. Why do you think this aircraft got its name kids?
The Hill Aerospace Museum is home to fighter jets, and even helicopters, some great suspended displays, and some pretty HUGE aircraft too!
Don't miss visiting the Aviation Hall of Fame, where you can see how pretty heroic men and women who fought in these very jets, and contributed outstanding achievements to the US Air Force. Kids might just walk away inspired!
There's even more history when you see a control tower from WWII, as well as a Wright Flyer dating back to 1903! Pretty amazing!

I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Hill Aerospace Museum?
There aren't any food service facilities exist at the Museum itself, but a number of restaurants, fast-food outlets and convenience stores are close by.
Any top tips when visiting?
Get kids enjoying the Scavenger Hunt! This highlights many objects that are a part of the museum collection. The Museum Scavenger Hunt gives kids of all ages an opportunity to explore and to get better acquainted with some of the most interesting aviation-related artifacts in the United States.
Does Hill Aerospace Museum have a gift shop?
They have a great gift shop where you can pick up a whole range of merchandise, plus mugs, shirts, toys, patches and more!

The museum offer a host of STEM related educational opportunities, from STEM summer lessons to field trips and outreach programs!
Is Hill Aerospace Museum fully accessible?
The Museum is handicapped-accessible and there are public restrooms available. Wheelchairs are available at no charge on a first come first served basis.
