Who loves to ride those super fun carousels that you find in those classic amusement parks? Well, at Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum you can not only ride them, but you can learn all about them too! How amazing is that!

The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum has it all! Kids can get up close to those glittering carousels, including a restored kiddieland testing park exhibit! Set in beautiful landscaping, kids can ride around in the gleaming helicopters, run around, and have a great time!

There are other refurbished kiddie rides, where kids can ride in fire engines, check out miniature cars, and even experience a pony and cart! Most of these fun rides include interactive elements, including wheels to steer, and bells to ring, so they can really feel in control!

Of course, the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum also feature some pretty iconic carousels. There is a historic 1916 carousel with 36 hand carved horses and over 580 lights, and a kiddie carousel in the children's gallery dating back to the 1940s. 

From the restored kiddieland testing park to the Wurlitzer Music Roll Department, this is a wonderland for vintage enthusiasts and, hmm, every kid ever! Ride the kiddie or adult carousel, with kiddie passengers permitted with a parent on the latter.

The children's gallery within the museum is crammed with related activities and resources aimed just at kids. As educational or as whimsical as you want, a vintage day out!
