We always think the best way to get a fun family camping experience, is to visit a campground that is family owned and run, and Hemlock Hideaway Campground is just that! After all - they are family too!
This beautiful campground is located on 83 acres of woodland, only one mile from Raystown Lake. There are cabins if you want that little taste of home, camper sites or tent sites for those who want to take it back to basics a little bit. Despite it's location to the boat launch and beach area of the lake, you will certainly get your seclusion and privacy at the campground.
There are also fun things to do with the family during your stay there! Kids always love the heated in-ground pool to splash about in, and there is a fun games room that the whole family can enjoy together, playing some arcade games or some pool.
With that beautiful lake, it would be a shame to not enjoy some fishing. There is a fishing pond perfect for the little ones. Those active kids who still have some energy left will love spending some time on the kids playground, with swings and a slide to keep them entertained. There is also a fun castle they can climb and be king or queen for the day!
Hemlock Hideaway Campground also has clean, modern bathhouses and a store to make your stay comfortable. Did we mention they are pet friendly too? See - we told you it's great to find a family operated campground!

They also have cabins to rent, where you need to bring bedding, cooking supplies and camp chairs. There aren't any toilets in the cabins.
