About Har-Ber Village Pioneer Museum

Have you ever wanted to explore an Oklahoma Pioneer History Museum? Well, get ready kids, because history will once again come alive at the Har-ber Village Antique Museum! This fascinating family experience offers a mix of recreated architecture and original historical buildings moved to the premises, coming together to form an authentic pioneer village experience!

There is a lot to see, so grab those bundles of energy and keen sense of learning and let's get exploring!

The aim of the village is to showcase pioneer daily life between the 1850s and the 1920s, so kids can really use those imaginations and imagine what life would have been like all those years ago. What would be the struggles? What would be amazing?

There are over 25 historic log cabins on the property, including several other buildings, leading to over 100 displays that you can look at! The cabins recreate certain buildings of the times, including drug stores and general stores.

Kids will love the interactive exhibits within the cabins too! You might want to play a game, or sit down at the kitchen table after cooking on the wood stove.

Don't miss the one room schoolhouse either, it's quite different to the schools we're used to today!

The Living History Cabin is where you can see living history demonstrations during special events, and the connecting Heirloom Gardens is where nature is in full bloom with the flowers, planets and herbs!

Grab those walking shoes because the Har-Ber Village Antique Museum also features a nature trail, which is actually open to the public without museum admission! Take a picnic lunch, and enjoy walking the trail during regular museum hours. It will take you through 2 miles of woodland property and some pretty special views!

A fun day exploring the history of Oklahoma pioneer life!
