The Georgia Racing Hall of Fame (GRHOF) officially re-opened August 2007. The museum, recognized by the state legislature as the official home of the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame, recognizes prominent members of Georgia’s racing heritage.Gordon Pirkle, local businessman and long time racing enthusiast, can often be seen taking groups of people through the museum and sharing his love for this segment of Dawsonville’s history.
