About Greenwood Railroad Historical Center

All aboard kids, we're off to enjoy a guided tour at the Greenwood Railroad Historical Center, exploring up close restored, climate controlled cars and locomotives! Choo choo! Journey back to the Golden Age of Railroad Travel in South Carolina, where guided tours last from 25 to 90 minutes, depending on the demand that day, and you can actually experience REALY locomotives!

You can tour a historic 1914 interuban, which is the last of a fleet that served upstate for more than 40 years. A fully narrated tour of the 1906 Baldwin No 19 explains how and where it operated, or step back to the era of the Pullman Sleeper "American Liberty", with every type of sleeping accommodation!

"Dinner on the Diner, nothing could be finer!" lets you learn first hand all about eating on a 1930s train, and see the unusual P&N Business Car "Carolina" which is the ONLY business car from P&N, and beautifully restored!

Check out the fun Special Events that they host too, from Mother's Day Brunch, to Dinner on the Diner, and Summer Camps for kids!
