About Greater Cleveland Aquarium

Greater Cleveland Aquarium is the perfect place for kids to explore the incredible creatures we have under the ocean - without getting wet!

There are a number of interactive programs for the kids, including diving with the sharks!

Everyday there are different events, so make sure you check the schedule on the day that you arrive. Stingray feeding, shark feeding - and even watching SCUBA divers in the shark tank! Could you summon up the courage to do that!?

Kids can also get involved in the interactive programs that the Greater Cleveland Aquarium offer. They can be an Aquarist for the day and understand first hand how the staff care for the creatures there.

They can see the fish feeding from the top of their 230,000 gallon exhibit, or even get creative and be a part of the private painting sessions where they can help stingrays paint! How cool is that!

Ever gone to sleep watching the creatures of the ocean? You can explore the museum after hours and actually sleep inside the aquarium! Of course, if you can't sleep - you can always count fish!

There are creatures from all over the world at the Greater Cleveland Aquarium - from the depths of South America to right across to Africa and Fiji!

The aquarium is a great way for kids to really see these wonderful creatures up close, and to learn about the ocean and how important it is for it to be protected. They can also be introduced creatures they might never have seen before! A fascinating day out perfect for the whole family!
