History is all around you at Grant's Farm in St. Louis, Missouri, and it's waiting for you on your next family day out!

There are many exciting animal encounters possible at Grant's Farm, which is the 281-acre ancestral home of the Busch family.  And like any great farm, there are animals too!

The Farm is home to more than 900 animals representing more than 100 different species. The Farm has been a St. Louis tradition for over five decades, giving families a fun day out since 1954.

Kids can see a variety of exotic animals from all around the world, including zebra, black buck antelope and bison. A visit to the beautiful Japanese Koi ponds are a must too!

Here's a fun fact, kids. Grant's Farm was named after Ulysses S. Grant, who originally worked on a portion of the land. See, history is everywhere! This history can continue with Grant's Cabin, which was built in 1855. This four-room, two story cabin was passed out of the hands of the Grant family, and has been restored to show kids exactly what life was like in the 19th century!

Grant's Farm also have paddle boat rides, carousel rides, and even pony and camel rides! Kids can even enjoy a train ride, and hands-on fun with animal feedings.

A fun day out with wildlife, history, and good old Missouri family fun!
