At Gizdich Ranch in California, kids can pick their favorite fruit right off the tree or vine (and we bet you have a LOT of favorite fruits, don't you kids!), and learn all about what it means to have foods "in season". 

Kids can get excited about healthy food when they can see right where it comes from!

Then, the family can even enjoy these tasty treats in your own picnic right among the apple trees. Sounds amazing!

Gizdich Ranch is, of course, a working farm, so don't miss the chance to take a self-guided walking tour! You can make your way through the apple orchards and berry farm, and maybe even pick your own as you pass by!

Plus you can see the apples being pressed for cider (Saturdays, September through May) and other seasonal specialities.
