Fancy spending the day at a charming, Californian family theme park? Better head to Gilroy Gardens then!

This fun theme park has a host of fun rides and activities, and well as events and of course, gardens to explore! In fact, they have over 40 in total! 

The rides at Gilroy Gardens vary from the super sweet, to the ones for the brave! Little kids will love some of the attractions just for them, such as riding the caterpillar around the apple core, and trying to find the "mayonnaise" inside the artichoke dip! They can even take a sweet ride on a toddler-sized fire engine. 

Then there are those rides for the slightly more adventurous. They have swing back and forth on the giant banana split, and see a birds eye view of the entire park as you are suspended and swung around from a giant mushroom! It's a theme park after all, so of course the Quicksilver Express Mine Coaster is one that you will want to try, surrounded by a forest as you dip and turn around the tracks. 

From more coasters, to spinning strawberries and motors that will take you back in time to the 1920s, Gilroy Gardens certainly have enough to fill those family days with fun!

Of course, there is more to this theme park than just rides. There is a fun playground where kids can swing, climb and hang until their heart's content, and they will be able to challenge themselves as they try and find their way through a rock maze. 

Don't forget about the gardens and nature too. They even have "circus trees" that range from the weird to the wonderful!
