Funland
About Funland
Funland is well, just that - fun!
A family business since 1962, you know over those years a lot of memories have been made, and now it's your turn to create your own!
Funland is a family amusement center located on the boardwalk in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. This classic amusement park offers great entertainment for the whole family, featuring 20 rides (that's a lot of thrills, kids, can you handle it!?), a host of midway games, an electronic shooting gallery, redemption games and redemption center, and an arcade with video and pinball machines. Phew! That's almost TOO much fun! Or is it...?
Kids can enjoy those classic rides such as the carousel, or try out some of the more modern rides such as the Freefall or Superflip. Think you can take them on just by hearing the name? Well, good luck!
14 of the rides are actually geared towards younger kids, but 6 of them are for those brave kids who think they can take on a challenge! Want to hear something cool? Well, five of the rides at Funland are actually original from 1962, so you might just be enjoying the same rides your grandparents enjoyed, kids!
Height and weight restrictions do sometimes apply but there's a wide scope for each age range so no-one is left out. Rides are pay as you go with the number of tickets required varying between rides and games, which means no matter what the budget, you can still enjoy the atmosphere of this classic boardwalk amusement park. Love that!
The Haunted Mansion, which is rated in the top 10 by Darkride and Funhouse Enthusiasts [DAFE], opens typically at 6:30PM. Since it is a dark ride, it is best viewed in the evening! BOO! Gotcha!
You can't spell Funland without "fun", so get those bags packed - it's showtime in Delaware!
