Four Mile Old West Town 3.0 (reviews)

Y'all come back now, ya hear! Back to history that is - at Four Mile Old Town! This amazing piece of history is ready for the whole family to come and explore it, and get on back to the Old West at a time when saloon doors swung, gun battles were fought in the street, and stage coaches rolled on through.

This fun South Dakota attraction is in the heart of the Black Hills, which was a true frontier area (Wild Bill anyone?) so you KNOW that Four Mile Old West Town will make you feel you're back in the Old West heyday.

As you tour the site, you will get to explore the town on the boardwalks, grass paths and stone walkways. There are even the original wagon ruts still in the ground! What do you think it would have been like to be riding a stage coach over a hundred years ago - right on the spot that you are standing! 

But Four Mile Old West Town is a town (it's all in the name!) so of course you get to explore - the town! Why not go and check out the Sheriff's Office (imagine the kind of antics that went on in there!), as well as the Town Hall, General Store, and even that iconic Saloon.

Make sure you take time to explore the bank, church and even the talking outhouse! There are actually over 50 buildings which are all furnished the way those outlaws and Old West would have known and seem them.

Get involved too! Talk with the local town folk, and enjoy the living history demonstrations! (Just make sure you don't get arrested for "spittin'" in the town center! They take that very seriously!)
