How about Family Aquatic Center in Lexington? This community water park is perfect for that bit of water fun and hot summer days.

Opening annually on Memorial Day, the Family Aquatic Center features a number of water activities for the whole family. The olympic-sized swimming pool is perfect for parents, or those older or stronger swimmers. A great way to practice those strokes you might have just learned!

Those younger water babies will love playing with the splash pad, and even having a go on the fun water slide! There's a fun tyre to hang from, some climbing for the kids and a zero-depth pool for those little ones who want to take it easy in the water. 

It's a great way to spend time with the family for a few hours. Don't forget about your hats and sunscreen though - you need to last through summer!
