About EcoMotion Tours

With EcoMotion Tours, you can explore the incredible beauty of Fort George Island Park, without disturbing it at all! It’s green tours all the way, and it doesn’t stop families having an amazing time either!

Fort George Island Park  is free from development, which is why it’s so special. This means it retains it’s wild, maritime forest, and pristine shores. It also means those centuries-old buildings from Sea Island’s cotton days are still in tact. Yep, we’re talking about Kingsley Plantation, which is a rare, Spanish-colonial site, with a host of things to explore.

EcoMotion Tours are more than just a “walk in a park”. You’ll be accompanied by professional guides who are super eager to share the wildlife sightings and the plantation’s past.

Kids - ask all the questions you like!

The tour is about 90 minutes in length, and is great for all ages and activity levels.

Another tour option with EcoMotion Tours are the Guided Nature Hikes. Here, with 90 minute trail hike takes you through a maritime forest, out onto the protected shores of the National Park’s Timucuan Preserve.

Kids can see marine critters, including dolphins and river otters, and they can learn all about the history of the Timucuan Indians. What natural resources do you think they used for shelter or medicine? Just ask your trusty guide!

Choose one tour, or both! It’s up to you. Whichever you choose, you have the comfort of knowing that your footsteps and not damaging any thing are looking at around you.
