It flows 80 miles from Mexico, and lucky for you into Mississippi!
The wildlife in the area is amazing, and one that Eco Tours of South Mississippi will tell you everything you need to know about the creatures and their habitats! From those snap happy alligators, to migratory birds including pelicans, herons, egrets, and even those iconic bald eagles. There are also over 300 species of plants which include wild lilies and orchids - all of which enhance the beauty of the bayou and definitely a great reason for you to bring your camera!
There are a number of tours that you can choose from. From the 2 hour and 4 hour tasters to whet your whistle, to a full day tour to really introduce you to all the natural habitats of these amazing cypress swamp and salt marshes.
If you want to really go all out, there is an amazing three day / two night adventure you can have in a remote cabin among the cypress knees and lily pads. Be surrounded by an amazing wilderness.
This all-inclusive stay will also take you on guided kayak tours and cruises in those classic Boston Whaler motorboats which are operated by your very own seasoned captain. Pretty impressive!
You can also custom make your trips if you like, or enjoy a sunset cruise.
