A lovely day in Texas? Then of course you want to head outside - and Discovery Green knows that when you are outside you want some really fun things to see and do!

Discovery Green is a super fun 12 acre urban park that is perfect for children and the whole family to go and play, explore, have fun and be entertained! 

There is always so much going on. There are first all the fun things you love about a park. Plenty of green space to run around on, picnic on and have great family time together. The Gateway Fountain is a popular place for kids to cool off when that Texas sun gets really hot, and the playground has all the elements the younger children in your family need to have fun, from slipper slides to climbing mounds.

Then of course, Discovery Green has the activities, entertainment and events! There is the very cool Anheuser-Busch Stage which is a state of the art concert venue that have outdoor movies, concerts and holiday parties!

On weekends the Hagstette Putting Green is a great way for those little active family members to work on their coordination and putting skills! 

There are gardens to go and smell the pretty flowers, and trails that are great for those who want to get that bit more exercise and do some jogging.  Reading rooms, art carts....Discovery Green has a whole lotta fun!

The great thing about Discovery Green, is it's not just limited to summer! In winter they have the ice rink (the largest outdoor rink in the Southwest no less!) so you can skate with the whole family on those days out.  You can even enjoy the rink in your wheelchair! 

No excuses for not getting out of the house and into this amazing park!
