Dinosaur Land
About Dinosaur Land
Can you imagine getting face to face with the big, sharp teeth of a T-Rex? Or looking at the scales of Stegosaurus? Well, at Dinosaur Land you can! How about spending your family day out in the Mesozoic era - sound fun? Let's go!
Dinosaur Land is a fun roadside attractions that has been entertaining families for over 50 years (not quite as old as the dinosaurs, but you never know how long it will be around for!). Now, you can explore over 50 very cool looking dinosaurs, which give kids the chance to imagine what like would have been like when the dinosaurs were the only creatures that roamed and commanded the earth!
Dinosaur Land is not just fun, it's educational (But the kids won't realize...!) They will learn all about some of the amazing dinosaurs that existed. Did you know that the Megalosaurus lived about 170 million years ago in Europe? This dinosaur is a mystery though, because not much is actually known about it as no complete skeletons have been found! (Maybe you might be the first!)
Did you know that the Coelophysis was a meat eater with sharp, dagger like teeth? At 6 feet tall they could run reaaaaallly fast!
Of course, everyone knows about the T-Rex, but have a look at his arms - they were so short! Kids, why do you think that is?
Have you ever heard of the Styracosaurus? Dinosaur Land is the place to, if you haven't! They actually lived about 70 millions years ago - right under your feet in North America!
And we haven't even just scratched the surface of all the dinosaurs you can learn about! Dinosaur Land is a piece of education, and that bit more fun in Virginia!
