he Des Moines Botanical Center is one of the most popular cultural attractions in Iowa, providing educational, recreational, and community resources to thousands. Its goal is to provide botanical displays and educational services for its visitors. It is located on 14 acres along the east bank of the Des Moines River, close to downtown.

With a wide variety of plants, flowers, and trees, there's something for everyone to enjoy. The center also offers educational programs, tours, and special events throughout the year. We recently visited the center and had a great time exploring the gardens and learning about the different plants. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the grounds were well-maintained.
