Perfect for kids over 10 years, Denali Zipline Tours off you an experience taking on exciting ziplines, challenging suspension bridges, a rappel, and even a spiral staircase!
Your zipline adventure will actually begin at their office in downtown Talkeetna where you will check in and board the DZT shuttle for a scenic three-mile drive to forested ridges above the mighty Susitna River Valley. When you arrive, you'll will meet your certified guides and get outfitted in top-quality gear so you are ready for the adventure! Don't worry if you haven't zipped before, because you will receive basic orientation at “zipline ground school”.
The pace of the three-hour tour is varied, where you will mix speed and excitement as you zip through the increible northern boreal forest. Don't worry, because you will also have time to pause and enjoy the view from viewing platforms and along the long aerial bridges. You will be amazed at the view of Denali and the expanse of the Alaska Range!
There will be numerous opportunities to glimpse the mountain vistas from the zipline, as well as the viewing platforms and suspended sky bridges, allowing ample time for picture taking.
Along the way you'll be able to learn all about the boreal forest, and topographical features thanks to the informative our guides. You'll also learn about the history of Talkeetna, from the gold mining to the quirky local characters.
Then, get ready, because you'll then encounter the final and longest zip of the tour that spans close to 600ft! Most of the ride suspended over the “Reflection Pond”, but then you'll land on the final platform six feet off the ground with an easy stair exit and a short drive back to downtown Talkeetna.

It's a good idea to keep healthy snacks and water in your car so you can enjoy it before and after the climb!
Any top tips when visiting?
Check is required 30 minutes prior to your booked time. Closed-toed shoes are required. They recommend comfortable clothing for the current weather conditions. Alaska’s weather can change quickly, so dress in layers.
Feel free to bring a camera along, however you will be responsible for transport, damage or loss of your own photo or video equipment. It is best to have a lanyard that can secure your equipment to your harness or to keep it in a zippered pocket.
