About Crowder District Park

There is something fun about taking the family to the park for a family day out. It's that simple, classic family fun outdoors - so why not enjoy a park on your next adventure!

Crowder District Park is 33 acres of landscaped grounds and hardwood forests in North Carolina. It's not only a great place for kids to run around on the grass, but there are also fun activities to keep them entertained.

Much more fun than sitting on a computer all day!

If you love walking or exploring, the park is filled with nature trails that you can enjoy. These trails can take you through beautifully scenic areas, including the pond! If you love wildlife spotting, these trails are perfect for that! Keep an eye out in particular as you go past the Bird Garden, as well as Crowder Pond itself, which is used as an aquatic habitat for the wildlife.

Those active kids will love enjoying the open play area, where they can keep active on the sand volleyball court, as well as the baseball backstop.

For a relaxing time, Crowder District Park also has some beautiful gardens complete with a Heron shelter and a butterfly garden!

So pack a picnic, and enjoy a day out in the North Carolina sun, where those classic family days out in the park can be enjoyed, and nature can be appreciated!
