About Colonial Quarter

History really does come to life with the Colonial Quarter of St. Augustine!

Here, the whole family can take an immersive, captivating journey through centuries of St. Augustine's rich history, at this two-acre section within the heart of the historic district.

Kids can experience the Nation's Oldest City like never before with an Historical Adventure Tour that immerses you in the sights, sounds and smells of 300 years! That's quite a lot of history, we hope you're ready!

Your time here will be filled with fascinating experiences and stories. You can also climb to the top of a 17th century watchtower replica, dine on classic Pub fare and Spanish Tapas and more!

You can visit a blacksmith shop within the city walls, engage in a Muskat drill, or even venture into the authentic home of a fort soldier.

The area is divided up into centuries, so one minute you might be exploring a 14th century sailing project, then the next minute you are immersed in and 18th century Spanish leatherwork shop.

You really are moving through the history books first hand! Kids can really use their imaginations to visualise the cannon drill, or what life was like under those 18th century flags.
