About Children's Museum of Illinois
Geared towards kids aged 3 to 12 years, the Children's Museum of Illinois is a hands-on, interactive museum featuring a host of exhibits and activities that encourage learning through play, particularly in the arts and sciences.
Sounds pretty fun to us!
There is so much to see and do within the museum! Those future engineers will enjoy the construction area, where they can don those hard hats and design and create something amazing. Those thespians in the family can jump on the stage, dress up and put on the performance of a lifetime!
There are model trains to play with, and creative areas where kids can get those hands messy with colorful paints, and create a masterpiece!
Kids love the exhibits that offer science based play, where they can create their own bubbles, or see how things are built as they "fix up" a car in the garage!
Did we mention kids can even play shop, and pick up the latest groceries from the market just like Mom and Dad? Maybe they are buying for the restaurant they have just opened! It's up to their imaginations where their day of play takes them.
The Children's Museum of Illinois also host fun events across the year, so keep an eye on what's coming up! It might be a summer camp, or the famous Duck Derby!
So kids, are you excited to get your day of play started? We are, so let's get going!
