If your kids want hands-on interactive fun during your next family day out, AND you want them to learn and develop at the same time, you might just need to keep reading! The Children's Museum in Bloomsburg is FILLED of interactive hands-on exhibits that will bring out the imagination in every child, and the child in every visitor.
In fact, there are over 50 exhibits to explore! Whether you are 12 months or 101 years old, you can experiment with, and learn all about, science, history and the arts!
Those active kids can dance their hearts out in the Exercise Room, or those imaginations can run wild in the Old-Fashioned School Room where kids can pretend to be the teacher!
Fancy spending some time in a coal mine? Why not! Kids can push the buttons to learn all about life in a coal mine many many years ago. They can even explode the dynamite! BOOM!
Ancient Egypt can come back to life as kids learn about Hieroglyphics, and visit the sarcophagus, or animal lovers can visit Molly the Turtle at her indoor habitat, and learn all about how she lives, what she eats and more!
The animal adventures can continue in Animal Architects as kids can crawl through the tunnel to learn about underground habitats, and look a animal activities above ground.
There are arts and crafts to be enjoyed, and for those little ones, plenty of preschool fun to be had. For the under 2s there is a Play and Learn Center, as well as a Preschool Yard and Cabin where kiddie sized adventures await.

Children's Museum FAQ’s
I’m Hungry! Can I get food at Children's Museum?
The museum does not sell food or drink items, but you can leave for lunch and return for no charge (they will stamp your hand!). They also have two picnic tables and several benches in our Native Tree Garden. Families are welcome to bring food to enjoy in the garden.
Any top tips when visiting?
Lovely Town Park here in Bloomsburg that has pavilions, picnic tables, and a great play area for kids. It's just five short blocks south of the Children' s Museum.
Does Children's Museum have a gift shop?
A gift shop is available. You can pick up a number of gifts, toys, shirts, games and more!
Teachers corner
Field trips are welcome! The Children's Museum also has nine different classroom kits available for loan for the elementary grades.
Does Children's Museum have healthy eating or Vegan options?
There is a water fountain in the museum lobby.
Is Children's Museum fully accessible?
The Children’s Museum is ADA accessible. Museum staff will do its very best to accommodate any special requests during your visit!
