There are 27 speciality landscapes for you to explore, with something for everyone! With a solar greenhouse and stunning outdoor grounds, there is always something beautiful in bloom!
The different colors of the flowers are always popular with the kids, as are the different types of landscapes you get at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens. The Sensory Garden is a concept where the plants stimulate all of your senses - great for those little kids to experience!
Parents might love the Bedont Rose Garden with hundreds of those beautiful flowers and a small water fountain, and older kids might love looking at the Cactus Garden - great for re-visiting because this garden changes over the seasons!
From Herb Gardens, Rock Gardens and beautiful gazebos it's a great chance for kids to learn about all the different types of flowers and plants that we have on our Earth!
A must visit for kids at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens, however, is the Paul Smith Children's Village - great for kids of all ages! It's aim is to teach kids the idea of sustainability from the past right through the present, and into the future. They even have fun activities every month - from learning how plants grow, to stories and crafts. Even science activities make an appearance!

They really love educating everyone on the wonder of nature and sustainability - it's important to look after our nature!
Any top tips when visiting?
The opening times of the childrens village differ slightly from the gardens. They are open 9am - 5pm Tues to Sat, and 10am - 4pm Sundays.
It's also worth noting that some of the activities might be an additional cost
Teachers corner
They are more than happy to welcome field trips to the gardens! Just give them a call to arrange!
Does Cheyenne Botanic Gardens have healthy eating or Vegan options?
It never hurts to bring some healthy snacks and bottled water with you so you get to keep your energy up!
