Cherokee County Aquatic Center
About Cherokee County Aquatic Center
We love to swim here at Family Days Out, and the Cherokee County Aquatic Center in Canton has a number of pools for you to choose from!
There is an indoor 50m pool for those who want to seriously train and build up the skills they have already learn (practice makes perfect, after all!). There is also an indoor 25 yard pool for those who are just beginning and want to spend some time finding their feet (or flippers) and practicing the basics, or fancy just a fun splash and play.
However, the main reason kids would go would be the fun outdoor Oasis Pool. This super fun pool has so many things to play on, play around, slide down and spin down, as well as fun sprinklers to play under as they spray you from out of no where!
There is always a lifeguard on duty too, to look after you, so parents you don't have to worry.
If you do find you love swimming and want to improve, they offer swim lessons for kids over 6 months, with the classes geared towards age levels. Classes for 6 month to 3 years introduce kids to the water right by their parents side, and teach the parents skills they need to help their child swim.
There is also chance to join a swim team should you really take to the water, and even move into competitions, as well as aerobics classes to enjoy.
Unleash the water baby in you!
