Let's check them out!
How about the dog sledding - the most popular of the tours here, and when you visit, you'll see why! Those super cute huskies will be there pulling you along and showing you all of their team skills. It really will be the ride of your life!
How about trying snow shoeing? If you have ever wondered how rabbits move so well on the snow, you will find out now! Once you get the technique right of walking with these very unusual shoes, you will understand - fancy a carrot? Nibble!
Fancy some ice fishing? What a great way to spend time together, trying a new spin on a popular pasttime! When the lakes and ponds are frozen, those fish are still swimming around underneath the top layer. Maybe you will learn a new skill during your time at Chena Dog Sled Adventures!
All of the equipment is provided and of course there are experienced staff on hand to show you the ropes, and take you around!
This family business is run on 120 acres of beautiful Alaskan wilderness, close to the Winter Trail as well as the Chena River State Recreation Area.
If the kids really take to the huskies, there's also a Dog Sledding And Dog Team Instruction course available.
