Cape May County Park and Zoo
About Cape May County Park and Zoo
We love a day at a county park, and we LOVE it even more when there is a zoo involved too!
Cape May Country Park & Zoo has over a whopping 200 acres that families can enjoy a relaxing and fun day out at, in the beautiful New Jersey countryside.
The park has a number of forested areas that you can explore, and kids will love playing among the flora and fauna too! The areas are kept in their natural state as well, so kids can really immerse themselves in nature at it's best!
The park itself also has a number of other activities that will keep you entertained on your family day out. There are picnic areas for those tasty family lunches, walking paths for those active kiddies, bike paths to enjoy, fishing ponds, and of course playgrounds for those kids who haven't used up all of their energy playing amongst the trees!
Did we mention that Cape May County Park & Zoo also have a disc golf course too? Love it!
Of course - it's not just the playgrounds and fishing ponds that people go for - it's the Cape May County Park Zoo!
Did you ever think you would visit a park and see an African lion, or a cute black howler monkey? Have you ever come face to face with an American Black Bear, or a super tall giraffe getting lost in the trees?
Kids can watch the red foxes play, and try and find the gorgeous snowy owls. It's a great way for kids to learn all about these animals too, and why conservation is so important.
With crafts with critters, camps, and birthday parties to boot, it's no wonder Cape May County Park & Zoo see families headed back again - and again - and again! Are you ready for your WILD day out?
