Cana Island Lighthouse
About Cana Island Lighthouse
Kids, are you ready to step back in time, and imagine what it was like to be a lighthouse keeper 140 years ago, trudging up the steps every night with your heated lard lamp?
That's exactly what you will experience at Cana Island Lighthouse!
Here, you can explore one of Door County Wisconsin's most popular lighthouses on an entire 8.7 acre island! The lighthouse is 89 ft tall, and is near the original home of the lighthouse keeps and the family.
Now, you can head up the spiral staircase for an amazing birds-eye view of the area! Are you ready to take on the 97 steps? Kids over 5 will love the challenge, because the view from the top is certainly worth it!
There is often water across the area, but if you don't want to get your feet wet, you can enjoy a fun wagon ride to the lighthouse - even than is a fun enough reason to visit!
So grab those lanterns and sense of adventure, kids, it's time to visit Cana Island Lighthouse!
