About Call of the Wild Museum

Call of the Wild Museum is a family day out with a difference! In fact, it's a family tradition for those who live in the area, offering a way for kids to get up close to some of their favorite animals without needing to worry about anything!

You see, that call of the Wild Museum is an educational resource filled with taxidermy animals, with hand painted habitat backdrops and displays with authentic sound effects adding to the atmosphere.

Over 60 animals within the museum include whitetail deer, the majestic elk, moose, black bear, Alaskan brown bear, polar bear, timber wolves, coyotes, raccoons and lynx.

The museum is also the length of 2 city blocks so just imagine how much learning there is!

Also at the Call of the Wild Museum is a small movie theater, as well as a Hands On room which is a favorite of kids. There is also the Walk In display with touch tables to actually TOUCH the animals, and there are scavenger hunt activity packs available for kids that will give them something fun to enjoy throughout their day!

An animal encounter with a difference at this Michigan museum. It's a ROARING time with plenty of learning too!
