Bushnell Park and Carousel 5.0 (reviews)

Did you know that Bushnell Park is the oldest publicly funded park in the entire USA? That's pretty impressive! That also feels like it's worth a visit on your next family day out!

It was actually conceived in the mid-1850s, and since then has been giving families an amazing family day out in Hartford!

There are some beautiful fountains and statues around the park, and it's just a lovely place to spend the day with the family. 

In 2017 they will be opening a fun new playground for the kids too, with plenty of places to climb, slide, crawl and PLAY!

With tours around the park too, it's combining the great outdoors and history all in one day. Kids can learn a great deal too!

Don't miss a trip to the iconic Bushnell Park Carousel too! This vintage 1914 carousel is one of the highlights of the park, and is a fun way for kids to enjoy that classic amusement style fun in one of the prettiest places in Connecticut!
