Busch Gardens Williamsburg
About Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Thrilling rides, stage shows, children's areas and good old family fun, Busch Gardens Williamsburg has everything you need for that fun family day out in Virginia!
Do you prefer splashing plunges or thrilling screams? No need to decide, because Busch Gardens has both! Coasters such as the Alpengelst where your legs are just hanging below as you twist and turn, or the Griffon - a very scary and motion filled ride - will keep you on your toes...even the bravest of kids!
Then there are those classic thriller coasters such as the Loch Ness Monster and Verbolten that will twist and turn you around some pretty speedy bends!
It's not all adult sized thrills though, so if you have those younger kids who want to have adult fun on a kiddie scale, then there are a host of rides perfect for them. From flying balloons, to hanging out with the fun characters of Sesame Street, to little gliders and dragons, you can see that fun comes in all shapes and sizes!
Don't think all the fun has to be on dry land though at Busch Gardens! If you are hoping to cool off, then you might want to check out the three water based rides. Log flumes, coasters and tubes all await you on some water adventure fun.
You can always end your day with some leisurely fun, with river cruises, skyrides and the Busch Gardens Railway. Great family adventure at a family friendly theme park in Virginia!

I bought meal tickets at the front desk with witnesses hearing the lady say you get dessert with one of the meals.Lunch time I ask the lady behind the counter if my meal included dessert. She said no that's with the dinner menu I would get dessert.Dinner comes and i'm in line with witnesses I show the lady my ticket and ask do I get dessert. She replied Yes.I get to checkout the lady tells me I cant get it.We get into a confrontation and she gets someone over.We get into a confrontation also. She says shes going to get security.I said go ahead i'll wait here. She leaves and wife goes to get a table with her sister and her sisters boyfriend. The lady sees my wife and walks over to her table with someone else and they all tell her that's 3 people that have told me that that day.First lady implied I was lying. So we have 3 people that said that dinner came with dessert. You would think this overpriced slice of cake was a 100 dollars..Needless to say I didn't get the dessert but I learned Bush gardens isn't about the customer is always right its about money. This place makes over 100.000 a day if not more and they are worried about an 2 dollar slice of cake thats overpriced at 7 dollars..Really.Most places would have given the customer the cake But Bush Gardens wants thier cake and eat it too.Seems to me their communication skills need some work.I agree with most on here they are way overpriced

Busch Gardens Williamsburg is a beautiful park to just stroll. The rides are fantastic with various degrees of thrill. The different countries provide a peak into other cultures in dress, history and even foods. If you ever do need first aid, they are prompt and thorough. My family is fortunate enough to be less than an hour away and have enjoyed season passes since moving to VA 8 years ago. Drive up for dinner and an evening stroll to appreciate the lights and gardens. The seasonal specials of Howl-O-Scream and Christmas Town make it just about a year long park.

First let me say that we came knowing that the park was only open certain hours, but we didn't know that most of the rides would be closed especialy the water rides. We brought ponchos because we knew that the ride Pompeil would get us wet but the ride was closed. I'm not complaining too much because we did have a good time. I did wait in line to go on the ride Loch Ness Monster and when I got to the front of the line they closed the ride without any explanation. Never got to ride it . We're from Ohio we'll be back Sorry that we paid full price for less than expected. our visit was on 10/26/14.

Good morning, this is the first time I have ever had a disappointing experience with Busch Gardens. I spent 2 hrs (from 6-8 pm) last night to purchase Christmas Town tickets online, with no success. At that time, I put down the computer to put my children to bed. When I returned to attempt to purchase the tickets at 9 pm, the computer stated the offer was no longer available. I attempted to contact the customer support via telephone and received the message that the office was closed. I re-reviewed the email I had received regarding the sale price and nowhere did it state a time when the offer was to go off-line. In fact, the email states the offer was good through the 18th of November. In my opinion, that would be until midnight. I spoke with a representative this morning, who made the statement that this offer was available for a long period of time and suggested I shouldn't have waited until the last minute. I take great offense to this. I was waiting to purchase tickets due to a personal matter and that should not be a factor. Especially when the email stated it was through the 18th of November. I would like to receive follow-up to this concern. Teresa, in customer support, stated there was nothing that could be done. I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I have been a loyal customer to Busch Gardens for the past twenty years. I do not feel that my family should punished due to a system issue and a lack of a published deadline time.

Beautiful, clean, friendly and AWESOME coaster rides! Also, if you are health wise and are vegetarian and/or vegan, the friendly staff will modify the meals to suit vegan tastes, whenever possible. Vegan crepes, cakes or ice creams? Not yet, but the salads and fruits can be make with no meats or cheeses, and this is a big start! You can visit Italy and have no meat spaghetti, and then ride the Apollo's Chariot, fun, fun, fun...my favorite is the Griffin and Alpengheist! Enjoy!
